Welcome to the GCIOBA 2011 Endo website.

Government College Ibadan (GCI), was founded in Ibadan, Nigeria in 1929 with the vision of grooming the future leaders of Nigeria.

Since then, GCI has lived up to its charter, producing a steady stream of proven scholars, top notch civil servants, elected officials, a Nobel Prize winner and captains of  business and industry that have made valuable and significant contributions to the growth and development of Nigeria.

Today, there are more than a dozen Alumni chapters (or “old boys” associations) all over the world.
In the United States, there are 6 chapters (1 national chapter and 5 regional chapters) with a total membership of over 300 people.

The NewYork/NewJersey  chapter will host  the annual End of Year activities scheduled to take place in New Jersey on Friday September 30th and Saturday October 1st 2011.

Activities include:

• Annual General Meeting
• Boat cruise around Manhattan
• Annual Cricket match
• End of year party (Endo)
